Club Penguin Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Club Penguin was a massively multiplayer online game (MMO), involving a virtual world that contained a range of online games and activities. It was created by New Horizon Interactive (now known as Disney Canada Inc.). Players used cartoon penguin-avatars and played in a winter-set virtual world. After beta-testing, Club Penguin was made available to the general public on October 24, 2005, and expanded into a large online community, such that by late 2007, it was claimed Club Penguin had over 30 million user accounts. In July 2013, Club Penguin had over 200 million registered user accounts.

User "Susie", mother of a 9-year-old, criticize the Club Penguin game on the "Commonsensemedia" on June 30, 2010:

"I don't think this is a good game. I went on my daughter's account, everywhere there's someone saying How could you cheat on me? I went everywhere, even the pet shop, and they have breastfeeding (Babies), where teens/kids act like babies. And then there's the teen hang out place, the Forest. Teens act like wolves and vampires. With sucking blood. And another thing on the baby, some teens hate the babies, so people would "Buy" the babies and take them to their igloo, but the ones who hate them, would bring them to their igloo, and throw them at the wall and curse at their faces. Now CP blocks cursing, yes? But instead, they use different words. They switch the first letters. And once, I saw someone trying to give their phone number away. Also, the babies and others get bullied. Some aren't Cool enough to fit in with the popular crowd. I say this is more for teens."
